MID PITCH!- 14/04/2016

About being tamed & creating ties

Our Pitch was based on the story of the little prince; when the little prince meets the fox and he said to him that they don’t need each other because there are hundred thousand other little boys and a hundred thousand other foxes out there.
The same happens with our project partner Suunto, which day by day has to deal on how to approach its customers and be unique for them with all the surrounding media of other companies between.
In the story the little prince wants to be friends with a fox, but it refuses because it is not tamed. “What does that mean – tame?” the prince asks. “It is an act too often neglected”, said the fox “It means to establish ties.”  This is exactly what Suunto lacks – creating ties with their customers.

11/04/2016 - Building up the perfect pitch!

Pitch, pitch, pitch!

This time we focused completely on creating our pitch; we all had different and great ideas for it and we took the best of each to make one that we were all proud of.

And so we did; lets hope for the best this Thursday 14th for the Mid Pitch

So nervous - Chan chan chan chan!!!

08/04/2016- TIME IS COMING

WHAT, WHY, HOW?

So, there is no deathline that doesn't get to an end; and ours is soon coming. Today we structured all the next steps that need to be followed; we are quite nervous because the mid pitch day is coming soon.

We decided that the best we could do for making an outstanding pitch was agreeing on the WHAT, WHY and HOW of our project and each of us would create an story around those, in 3 min.; after that we will take the best of each pitch to build up the final one.

02/04/2016 - 2nd JAM!

THE DEATHLINE IS COMING NEARER

Today the Demola team gave us great workshops again (a lot less boring than last time we have to say,  which is apparently normal).

Pitching seems now to be less dramatic than the first time, we are becoming pretty good on that.

However again frustration came through as we noticed that we are running out of time and that we don't have great advances yet; so we worked on our proposals and divide each, between the team memeber so we can show it as the first demo to our partners and receive feedback from them.

Let's see what happens in the next meeting...

01/04/2016 - Research results

NICE INSIGHTS

This time appeared to be a nice big step towards our demo; as we divided the research by different channels, we could all find really valuable insights that can lead to be great opportunities for our partner.

A lot of crazy and great ideas started to splash out in our team; and motivation seems to araise again; anyway we still don't have anything concrete but now seems that we are actually reaching something.

Ohad has become a great facilitator, he helped us to settle down some of our crazy ideas and focus them for being a realistic prototype/demo.

21/03/2016 - Research planning

TIME TO GET STARTED

As we have settled some death lines and needed to start building our prototype; we meet again and discussed about what were the first steps to accomplish it.
We decided to start making a little research on the market we will test our demo with.

By the way Suunto provided us nice devices (2 Ambit 3) to play with, Eevis who plays ultimate frisbee (she is the most sport active in the team) will test one of them to tell us her own cutomer perception about the product.

Sounds like a start point now.

17/03/2016- FIRST PLAYBOOK MEETING!

TRUST DEMOLA CYCLE

Our motivation seems to go worst than ever, we are getting really frustrated by the fact that we don't have anything concrete.

Ohad, our facilitator, has tried really hard to push us to think "Outside of the box"; but every time we try, our partner seems to be kind of dissapointed, it feels like if neither them know what exactly they want to accomplish with the project.

In this meeting we set some death lines and agreed on what are we going to deliver and when; maybe now our "prototipe" or whatever it should be, starts getting some shape...
